How shall we spend the comming holidays?

Golden Week – a series of holidays from the end of April to the beginning of May in Japan.
Recently the government has made a unusual announce, that people “should ” enjoy holidays, despite of the enormous tragedy in our country.
It said that people should spend money on travels, shopping, etc., to raise up the economy.
Is that right? I don’t feel inclined to have such a fun…Indeed I usually do not like to go into a crowd.
Anyway my husband is still on the plain to return, he will be at home at least in the afternoon, so we would spend today, Saturday, at home.
