Challenging to Chaos(4) – Why repeatedly?

On learning Chaos theory a question came to me – why one is so eager to predict results of functions which are “repeatedly” used for a given value?
I thought about it this morning, while I was cleaning my room, as I do every Fryday, and soon find the answer.

The case that one function effects to a thing over and over again, for a long time unchanged, is often seen in an environmental effect without anyone’s intention.
If someone wanted the thing to be turned somehow, that “somehow” would have been already predicted.
